RAJA AMPAT

Luxury Island Hopping

The islands of Raja Ampat are surrounded by luminous, turquoise waters and form one of the most remote and striking destinations left on earth. Kayak around hidden lagoons, explore ancient caves and visit long forgotten tribes.

Raja Ampat translates as the ‘Four Kings’ and is located off the northwest tip of the Bird’s Head Peninsula on the island of New Guinea. It is comprised of over 1,500 small islands, cays, and shoals surrounding the four main islands of Misool, Salawati, Batanta, and Waigeo.

Drop anchor and roam the limestone peaks of Wayag, the poster child of this region, trying to spot rare birds of paradise.  Afterwards, dine in style by a roaring bonfire on blazing white sand beaches while billions of stars light up the sky.

This region is tucked away in the heart of the Coral Triangle and has over ten times the amount of hard coral species found in the Caribbean. It is hardly surprising that scientists have nicknamed it the ‘species factory’ and you will discover some of the best diving and snorkelling in the world.
